This Privacy Policy explains how Darva Software Solutions LTDA (including its products and brands, such as DARVA Smart Logistics) collects, stores, uses and discloses personal data in connection with our services.

We process the following categories of personal data:

(i) Customer Data

Personal data that we collect, process and manage on behalf of our business customers (“Customers”), submitted to our cloud-based Platform and related tools, APIs and services.

(ii) User Data

Personal data relating to individuals authorized by Customers to use the Platform, including administrators, employees, contractors, drivers, billing contacts and authorized representatives (“Users”).

(iii) Prospect Data

Personal data relating to visitors of our websites, landing pages, marketing programs, events, digital content, and communications under our control (“Sites”).

(iv) Partner & Technology Data

Personal data relating to developers, technology partners, candidates, applicants, consultants, vendors or other individuals who engage with DARVA in a professional or technical capacity (“Partners”).

Important: This Policy describes DARVA’s practices as a data controller for User, Prospect and Partner Data. It does not govern how Customers process Customer Data

Data Collection & Processing

“Personal data” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual. It does not include aggregated or anonymized data.

DARVA collects the following types of personal data:

  • Usage and device information: IP address, approximate location, device type, OS, browser/app version, language settings, identifiers, logs, click and activity data.

  • Contact and profile information: name, email, phone number, job role, employer, profile image, login credentials, settings, billing details.

  • Communications: inquiries, support messages, surveys, forms, testimonials, call or meeting recordings (where permitted), logs and analytics for support and training.

Purposes, Legal Bases & Compliance

We use personal data as necessary to:

  • Provide and operate the Services

  • Comply with obligations

  • Support legitimate interests in improving and securing the Services

Data Location, International Transfers & Retention

Data location: Data may be stored or processed in Brazil, the UK, the EEA and other countries.
International transfers: Protected by safeguards such as SCCs (GDPR/UK GDPR) or LGPD-approved mechanisms.
Retention: Data is retained only as necessary for operations, law, contracts, records and dispute protection.

Data Disclosure

We may disclose personal data to:

  • Service providers: hosting, cloud, communications, analytics, security, billing, advisors.

  • Customers and administrators: for accounts managed by organizations.

  • Integrations: third-party tools enabled by Users or administrators.

We use cookies, pixels and similar technologies for operation, analytics and personalization. You can manage cookies through browser settings. “Do Not Track” signals may not be recognized.

Communications

We may communicate via email, phone, SMS, in-app messages and push notifications.

  • Service communications: security alerts, billing, updates (cannot always opt out).

  • Promotional communications: product updates and offers (unsubscribe options available).

Additional Notices

Updates: The Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use means acceptance of updates.
Third-party links: Governed by their own privacy policies.
Children: We do not collect data from minors intentionally. Contact us if you believe this occurred.
